The Leucadia 101 Main Street Association is proud to present the 5th Annual Taste of Leucadia on April 6 from 5:30pm-8:30pm. The community comes alive to celebrate our beloved restaurants, retailers, craft brewers and local vintners. 23 of Leucadia’s amazing restaurants will be serving samples highlighting the best of their distinctive menus. Seven Sip Stop locations will be open after hours for attendees to enjoy tastings from local breweries and wineries in unique locations on Hwy 101. Look forward to the outdoor Craft Beer Pavilion at Priority Public House with seven awesome breweries and, brand new to the event in 2017- The Glaucus Corner Ambrosia Garden at 1114 N. Coast Hwy 101 serving elixirs such as alcoholic kombucha, local cider, gluten free beer and more! Thank you to the Glaucus Corner Ambrosia Garden hosts Leucadia Floral & Plant, Randoms Boutique, Bowie X James Beachwear for Babes, and The Hatch Adventure Workshop for creating a beautiful atmosphere to enjoy new and unusual elixirs. The Craft Beer Garden will include lighting by Bright Ideas Lighting, garden beautification by Anderson’s La Costa Nursery and free photos for guests by Camera Camper vintage trailer photo booth. The event would not be complete without live music all along N. Coast Hwy 101 by: Jason Matkin, Johnny Tarr, Buena Vista SoCal Club, Ben Powell, Hummingbird Hotel, Heather Nation, DGTL CLR and Lindy Crandall.
Food Tasting Only tickets are $25 in advance ($30 the day of), Food and Sip Stop Tickets (craft beer/wine tasting included) are $40 in advance ($45 the day of), Sip Only tickets are $20 in advance (a very limited quantity of Sip Only Tickets are available). Each ticket holder with Sip Stops will receive a commemorative taster glass for beer, wine and elixir tasting. Ticket sales begin at 10 am on Thursday March 16th. Close to 2000 people attend this event and 1000 tickets are sold. To avoid any parking frustration, Leucadia 101 will provide an eco shuttle that runs on biofuel which will transport attendees from the upper parking lot at City Hall (505 S. Vulcan) to Leucadia and will drop off riders in the heart of the event. The shuttle will be running throughout the night to bring guests back to City Hall. The last pick up will be 8:55 from HapiFish so plan accordingly. This year, Electra Bicycle Company will provide a bike valet at the Craft Beer Garden, so ride your bike to the event and park worry free!
