Second Annual Taste of Leucadia: Food For ThoughtTickets on sale August 25, 2005
LEUCADIA - Back by popular request the second annual, Taste of Leucadia: Food For Thought will be held on September 15, 6 p.m. 8:30 pm and will feature samplings from Leucadia restaurants, live music, poetry and will have fine art displayed. Tickets go on sale August 25: $15.00 for advanced sales and $17.50, if available. Last year's event sold out. Presented by the Leucadia Hwy101 Main Street Association (Leucadia 101), and sponsored by: California Bank & Trust; Ecke Ranch; Leucadia Beach Inn, Robbie's and Vigilucci's Pizzeria the participating restaurants are: Angelina's; Big Jim's Old South Bar-B-Q; Birdhouse Grill; Calypso; El Torito Market; Fulano's; JamRoc 101 Caribbean Grill; La Especial Norte; Le Papagayo; Mozy CafÈ; Pannikin Coffee and Tea; Robbie's; Sub Palace; Teriyaki 101; Vida Gourmet and Vigilucci's Pizzeria.
The dining route is between Glaucus and El Portal Streets in Leucadia, and restaurants not in this route will have booths at these alternate locations: Leucadia Roadside Park; the Gold Coast Design Center; and Lou's Records. Music to eat by will be provided by: Bazaar Musicians; Cindy Lee Berryhill and the Wigbillies; Just Jazz; Luna iLena; Rizorkestra and Shoestring Strap Band. But wait, there's moreäa Poetry and Podification Post featuring local poets, as well as businesses staying open late to further enhance the atmosphere and provide more exciting opportunities for participants to enjoy.
