Leucadia Farmer’s Market

Since 2005, the Leucadia Farmers Market has been a gathering place for the Encinitas community. We want to say thank you to all of the local farmers, artisan food vendors and shoppers who have kept this market alive and thriving over the years.  This market would not be here with out the vision of the Leucadia 101 Main Street, our founding partners at the Paul Ecke Central PTA and our extremely dedicated and hard working market manager Ron LaChance.

The Leucadia Certified Farmers Market is an extremely popular market held every Sunday from 10 am – 2 pm on the school grounds of Paul Ecke Central School located at 185 Union Street, Encinitas, CA. 92024. This community event was founded in 2005 by the Leucadia 101 Main Street Board of Directors and the Paul Ecke Central School PTA. Fund generated by the market support the Leucadia Main Street Program and the Paul Ecke Central PTA.

The Leucadia Certified Farmers Market has 65 vendors with local organic produce, meats, cheeses, artisan foods, flowers, plants and baked goods. We have a large Certified Organic section as well. In addition you will find specialty foods like bakeries, beef, seafood, marinades, pastas, sauces etc. Come hungry as we also have a very nice food court serving breakfast and lunch. Local artisans too!

Check out their featured vendor page for the vendors of the month.

Rain or Shine! Though not every regular vendor will brave the elements we are open rain or shine and have NEVER closed because of weather. Even in the worst weather the majority of or Certified Growers are always there for you! Easter Sunday is the only Sunday we regularly close.
