Each year the Arts Alive Encinitas exhibit features 101 creations by local artists in a fantastic display of color on the lamp posts along a 6 mile stretch of historic Coast Highway 101 in Leucadia, Encinitas and Cardiff-by-the-Sea, California.
This year’s Arts Alive artists include returning artists, local business owners, and some exciting new names. Read on for a list of participating artists and consider joining us for the live auction on the 20th to take home your favorite piece!
Janet Lawless Christ returns as this year’s title sponsor of Leucadia 101 Main Street’s 18 Arts Alive Banners. Janet is a North County realtor and artist herself. Her love for Leucadia and its creativity run deep, “Leucadia is a magnet for me and I find Leucadia to be a place of solace. I am truly honored to support public art in Encinitas because the arts support our souls!” Janet, who is ranked in the top 1% internationally for the Coldwell Banker Presidential Premiere, often combines her love of realty and art, transforming open houses into art shows for local artists; proudly displaying their unique work for her clients to see — no doubt allowing them to fall even more in love with their future home.
This year’s Arts Alive artists are:
Hilary Bell, Steve Burrows of Burrito Art, Debe Hersey, Garit Imhoff, Jeff Linsenbard, Judy Mock, Janice Erickson Nolan, Brad Schneider, Jeanette Shires, Tierney Moses, Marissa Quinn, Brian Seghers, Theresa Giolzetti, Zach Arreola, Kylie Carnes, Robert Bender, Matt Hayward of Chovy Art
